12 Month Program

Our program runs year round, with enrollment beginning in September and ending August 31st of each year. Our school year for our preschool/kindergarten program begins September 1 and ends June 30th. Summer is July and August, but we require at least part time enrollment through the summer to keep your child engaged and to keep our wonderful Cascade Montessori team employed.

Classroom Transitions

Please note that your child’s enrollment each year is per class, not age group. If your child has a birthday during the year that makes them eligible for the next class up they will be transitioned to their new class, only if there is space. Otherwise, they will transition the following school year. Because the Montessori method has a high emphasis on focusing on each child as an individual, your child will receive the same opportunities for physical, social, emotional and academic growth that is developmentally appropriate in all class environments.
